This month's Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky is....
"Summer Celebrations"
Summer time to me is all about the County Fair, the State Fair, the store parking lot carnival and on and on. Thank goodness we do not have a year-round amusement park in our town or the kids would have us bankrupted with ride tickets.
One thing I noticed at the state fair last year was a hot air balloon. I have always wanted to take a ride in one but I have this fear of heights that prevents me from even attempting it. One day I am going to face this fear but I think I am going to need someone with arms made of steel to go with me so I don't dig my nails into their bones. lol
So, for my "Summer Celebrations" project I made a hot air balloon.

Your hot air balloon is fabulous. When I saw it this morning, I thought how fun it would be to ride one. I'm just not sure I can get over the "height" thing either. lol
