Hello Everyone.
Today is my first post for 3 Girl JAM's second term and I am so very excited to be staying on the team.
There are so many new and exciting changes that are going to be happening at 3 Girl JAM. One of those changes is a new Challenge Blog. Our first challenge will be August 24th so head over, become a follower and mark your calendars.
Julie is celebrating all the new changes with an awesome giveaway so check out A Little Bit of Bling to find out all the details.
I hope you all have been having a terrific week and are planning a relaxing weekend. The grands are going to be home tomorrow so it will be a wonderful weekend in our neighborhood.

My project for today is a simple bookmark for my grandson. He loves reading to his baby sister and she will sit beside him and listen forever. I used a "Canvas Border Strip" and some "Sunshine Yellow" twine. The Canvas Borders are so easy to work with because they already have adhesive on the back (no muss, no fuss) and the twine is extra thick so it makes wonderful bookmark fringe.
The bookmark die is from Papertrey Ink. I love this die because it makes it so very easy to make bookmarks.
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Food for Thought" stamp set. I have to tell you something funny about this sentiment. When I first got this set I was looking through them all and kept saying to myself "fun-gee" how do you use that??? So I have had this set since it was released and every so often would come back to this sentiment and wander 'fun-gee" how do you use that. A couple days ago I don't know what clicked but on went the light bulb and "fun-guy" I KNOW HOW TO USE THAT. Oh my gosh how dense am I???
