On Papertrey Ink's Make a Card Monday video there was a mini stamp press used and it was the coolest little thing. I have both Fiskars stamp presses but sometimes even the smaller one is just too big. So when there was talk on the PTI forums about making one I just had to give it a try. Here is what I came up with.
It works beautifully. I took a sponge and cut it up, glued the 2 pieces onto a 2x6 inch stamp block with glossy accents and it stamps like a dream. You can line your sentiment up and not wiggle it. Oh Happy Day.
Note: I started out using a 3x3 block and it looked great until I went to ink the stamp and yep you guessed it... The ink pad wouldn't fit in between the sponge feet. lol
I also wanted to mention that my sweet bloggy friend and DT sister is having a giveaway on her blog so head over and visit Carri aka abusybee.

Great idea. I have the small fiskars one and I am still stamp challenged.

Wow! This is a great idea and I already own a block like that! Where did you get that round sponge?

Wow now this is a great idea. Wish I had thought of this idea before I picked up my stamp press. TFS AJ-
